45-minutes of Qigong Basics for daily use
Welcome to Qigong 101!
Join founding member, Wendolyn White, for this easy-going + contemplative 45-minute Qigong class, where you’ll be led through a series of simple fluid movements performed from side to side to help calm your nervous system and connect you with your peaceful center.
How to prepare for class:
Wear loose-fitting or stretchy comfortable clothes and flat shoes
Have enough room to stretch arms out to the side and over the head without obstructions (5 sq. ft. per person, allowing for side to side and forward and back movement of one to two steps)
No equipment is necessary; you need to be able to stand for about 30-40 minutes
Reminders:
Posture is important, standing tall but not rigid with toes pointing forward. If possible, breathing in and out through the nose and slow belly (diaphragmatic) breathing. Tip of the tongue resting just behind the teeth where the roof of the mouth and teeth meet.
