May | Courage to Bloom
Expand and open in infinite love and possibilities

WELCOME to May!
— a month for paying attention to the unfolding of ourselves, and our hearts, as we look to the example of the natural world to guide our courage to bloom.
“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud became more painful than the risk it took to bloom.” —Anais Nin
Blooming is vulnerable and requires us to root deep into the courage of our hearts, so we can expand and open outward into new possibilities.
This is a great month to spend time in the sweet, unassuming vulnerability of the natural world… observing how Life naturally opens and unfolds according to its own innate timing.

Just as the geese do not look at a calendar or set their alarms to prompt them to fly south for the Winter, we get to trust our natural impulses and surrender to ‘right timing’ while letting go of worry (see more below). This is a time to claim the Freedom that comes with trusting in your natural unfolding, with joy!!
Meditate on this:
Risk to bloom: “And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud became more painful than the risk it took to bloom.” — Anais Nin
Tend to your garden: If you spend your time chasing butterflies, they’ll fly away. But if you spend your time making a beautiful garden, the butterflies will come to you. When you focus on improving yourself, everything you want will come to you. We attract based on who we are, not what we want. Don’t chase, attract.
This month we will be:
Paying attention to flowers (and the natural world) — how it unfurls and comes to life in vulnerable opening
Looking at how we ‘play small’ and stay stuck in a comfort zone as a way to protect ourselves from possible misfortune or danger
Breaking free from old patterns
Choosing to make small changes (like moving something around the house) to encourage us to enjoy change
Allowing ourselves to open and shine — to be in courageous vulnerability
Connecting with a greater sense of freedom, safety, and desire to expand
